Open Positions

Operations Consultant

The Operations Consultant works with plaintiff law firms in an effort to optimize the client firm’s operations in relation to best practices in the industry as well as provide new and innovative practices. The Operations Consultant works closely with client firm team members not only at a high consultative level, but also side by side with the team members at the granular level, teaching process and report/tool usage when applicable. The consultant is also expected to periodically deliver instructive, best practices/innovation presentations to the legal industry at Vista sponsored events as well as at client/vendor events as appropriate. This person/position represents the Vista brand by displaying exemplary client service and unparalleled business acumen.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Organized
  • Self-disciplined / motivated
  • Able to deliver work product with minimal supervisory management
  • Strong problem-solving / critical thinking skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Comfortable with technology / remote access / MS Word / Excel / Outlook / Access, screenshare software, intake software, and legal case management software
  • Able to read and analyze basic financial statements
  • Able to read and analyze various KPI reports, both scoreboard and diagnostic
  • Able to switch gears at a moment’s notice as client’s priorities change
  • Effective communication skills and ability to lead meetings
  • Punctual to client phone calls and events
  • Ability/willingness to travel
  • Able to prioritize tasks and be respectful of client and team member deadlines
  • Able to self-educate on industry topics, vendors, etc.
  • Responsible for maintaining a home office, including adequate internet and cell phone
  • Team player attitude
