Chad has also been a consultant to personal injury firms for over 15 years. He has worked with over 200 firms across the country, helping them grow their practice. He is considered an industry expert in the field of law firm management and building firms that get great results for their clients. Additionally, Chad is the CEO of cj Advertising, an advertising company that represents personal injury firms throughout the country. Steve DeBosier

Baton Rouge native Steven DeBosier joined the litigation team at Dudley DeBosier in March 2000. He is a 1985 graduate of Catholic High School, and he obtained his undergraduate and law degrees from Louisiana State University. Steven spent the first few years of his legal career representing insurance companies, where he learned firsthand how they operate. At Dudley DeBosier, Steven prosecutes plaintiffs’ personal injury claims against those same insurance companies in courts all across Louisiana, including state and federal courts. He focuses on personal injury claims and helping get his clients the money they deserve.

Stephanie Dermont

Stephanie, a seasoned Operations Consultant, became an integral part of the Vista Team in 2009. Her joining marked a significant milestone in our history, as she was the first consultant we ever hired. With her, Stephanie brought a wealth of knowledge and experience in management and operational excellence, honed from an impressive career spanning multiple industries and roles.

Admitted to practice law in Connecticut, New York, and Tennessee, Stephanie combines her legal expertise with her operational acumen to provide holistic solutions to our clients. She is an innovative thinker, able to tailor tried-and-true solutions to specific circumstances faced by clients. It's this ability to customize strategies that sets Stephanie apart.

Before joining Vista, Stephanie spent twelve productive years working in and managing remote teams in insurance claims departments, where she honed leadership skills and developed a keen understanding of the intricacies of legal processes and procedures. This was followed by five pivotal years serving as the Chief Operations Officer at a large, multi-office, northeast personal injury firm. These experiences equipped Stephanie with a unique perspective and invaluable insights into the workings of law firms, making her an asset to our team and our clients.

Stephanie has a particular talent for supporting COOs and Office Managers in challenging situations. Her polished coaching techniques and decision-making guidance have proven invaluable to clients navigating complex operational issues. She not only identifies problems but also empowers clients with the tools and knowledge to solve them.

Tim McKey

Tim co-founded Vista Consulting in 2009. Vista’s aim was to help plaintiff law firms reach their full potential. Tim has decades of CPA experience with local, regional, and national CPA firms. However, it is through Tim’s prior consulting practice that he found his passion. He has worked with many business owners, assisting them with defining and attaining success in their business and personal lives. Developing a management philosophy with business owners along with the associated systems and processes that assist in delivering outstanding management to Vista’s client teams is Tim’s forté.

Tim’s experience and interest allow him to assist Vista clients with developing a realistic vision of their firm into the future, creating a strategic plan to achieve that vision while working with firm owners in designing their desired lifestyle. From a technical standpoint, Tim assists Vista clients in reviewing firm tax entity structure, accounting systems analysis, and financial reporting.

Additionally, Tim is the managing partner of The McKey Business Group (MBG) CPAs. MBG is a small consulting CPA firm located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The firm only works for select businesses, providing consulting services (building the roadmap for the future), as well as traditional CPA products and services. When working with Tim, there usually are “light bulb” moments…he calls them BFOs (a Blinding Flash of the Obvious). Sometimes, he says, business is just not that complicated. Tim’s ability to mentor successful businesspersons, and gently push them to new levels of thinking, while providing creative perspectives, contributes to Vista clients’ success, as well as Vista’s success.

Tim’s strategic vision for Vista has made a great contribution toward developing a team of consultants who take a comprehensive approach to working with their clients. Identifying and solving operational issues is not the only goal…enhanced profitability and having fun doing it is real success.

Tim lives in Baton Rouge. He has two daughters, four granddaughters, one grandson, and one wife. He enjoys spending time with his crew poolside. Mary Ellen Murrah

Mary Ellen Murrah - a powerhouse of strategy, marketing, and innovation - joined the Vista Team in 2019. She was no stranger to the legal landscape and brought to the table more than 16 years of experience managing and marketing a national legal case management software company, a role that has given her an intimate understanding of the inner workings of personal injury law firms across the country. As our Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer, she is poised to redefine the way we approach our vision and goals. She possesses an uncanny ability to identify business improvement opportunities that others might overlook. Rebekah Stevens

Rebekah is a cornerstone of the Vista Consulting Team, having joined at its inception and now serving as our esteemed Chief Financial Officer. She has been an integral part of Vista founder Tim McKey's ventures since 1996, working at McKey Business Group, where she continues to hold the dual roles of Chief Financial Officer and Certified Public Accountant.

Rebekah is a proud graduate of Belhaven University in Jackson, MS, where she earned her degree in accounting. Her academic background and wealth of experience equip her with a deep understanding of financial management in the legal industry.

Rebekah’s broad spectrum of responsibilities is pivotal to the heartbeat of our operations. Her role spans managing all the financial facets of our operations, from budget orchestration to financial forecasting and comprehensive financial reporting.

Rebekah is also the driving force behind Vista's Fractional CFO services. As a Fractional CFO, Rebekah provides part-time financial leadership to firms, helping them manage their financial operations with precision and foresight. One of her key contributions is the development of an extensive set of financial reports meticulously crafted for comprehensive review. These reports provide valuable insights, offering clients a clear, concise view of their financial standing. Clients appreciate Rebekah's commitment to transparency and her ability to transform complex financial data into actionable business intelligence.

Terri Houchin

Terri, a dynamic and multifaceted professional, became an integral part of the Vista Team in 2018. She gracefully balances the dual roles she plays within our organization - that of a skilled Operations Consultant and a dynamic Director of Events.

Her journey in the legal field began in 2004 when she joined a large, multistate law firm as a front desk receptionist. It was there that Terri discovered her innate passion for serving others could be channeled into the arena of personal injury law. This realization marked the birth of her profound love for the legal domain, a love that has only grown stronger with time.

Fueled by her unquenchable desire to understand the intricate details of personal injury cases, Terri ascended the professional ladder with commendable speed. Her tireless dedication and firm grasp of the nuances of the industry led to numerous promotions as well as her appointment as Senior Legal Assistant.

In 2015, Terri welcomed a new challenge. She was handpicked to join a budding personal injury firm as Senior Legal Assistant and Office Manager. This role allowed her to leverage her wealth of experience and unwavering commitment to the profession to foster the firm's growth. Under her expert guidance, the firm swiftly rose through the ranks to become one of the premier small firms in her hometown.

While the majority of her experience lies in the area of personal injury, her career began at a labor union where she played a crucial role in negotiating a new collective bargaining agreement between a major US airline and their pilot group. Kendall, an Operations Consultant, joined the Vista Team in 2022. With an eagle eye for operational optimization, she excels in areas like intake, client touch points, and departmental organization/structure. For almost a decade, Kendall has been immersed in the world of personal injury law. Starting as an Investigator, then Intake Manager, then Firm Administrator, she quickly rose to become the Director of Office Operations for a renowned plaintiff firm in North Carolina. Ryan is a navigator in the sea of data, understanding how to acquire it, refine it, and interpret it. His expertise lies in assessing and understanding our clients' unique needs and translating those into clear, concise, and effective reporting tools. One of Ryan's superpowers is creating custom dashboards for our clients, working hand-in-hand with Vista's Operations Consultants. But these are no ordinary dashboards. With a prestigious degree from Southern Methodist University under her belt, Cristina embarked on a career journey that has spanned multiple industries and roles over the years, each one adding a new dimension to her expertise.

Her career story began at AT&T, where she spent a decade managing the accounting and business departments. This experience honed her skills in corporate finance and business strategy, shaping her into the versatile professional she is today. After that, she sought a new challenge and found it in the role of Office Manager and Accountant for a residential contractor, where she spent sixteen fruitful years.

At Vista, Cristina brings a wealth of accounting, bookkeeping, and organizational skills, garnered from her diverse professional journey. As a Senior Accountant, she oversees all billing and receivables, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at every turn. But her role goes beyond numbers. She works closely with Vista consultants, providing invaluable financial analysis and support that drives strategic decision-making.

Cristina's understanding of accounting isn't just theoretical; it's practical, informed by years of hands-on experience across different sectors. Cristina enjoys working out, reading, and working in her yard (with the help of her two labs, Sally and Gunner) and is an avid SMU and LSU fan. She enjoys family time with her husband, three grown sons, and daughters-in-law and is a proud grandparent five times over!

Nicole Williams

Nicole, our Office Manager, has been an instrumental part of the Vista team since 2021. With over 13 years of experience spanning office administration, administrative assistance, project management, and project implementation, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role.

Nicole's career journey is as diverse as it is impressive. She spent a decade in the fast-paced construction industry, where she honed her skills in managing complex projects and navigating challenging situations with grace and poise. Following this, she spent over three years in the dynamic real estate industry, further broadening her skill set and industry knowledge.

As Vista's Office Manager, Nicole is the glue that keeps our team functioning smoothly. She's our go-to person for everything from coordinating events to ensuring our clients always receive top-tier service.

Nicole understands the incredible value of providing excellent customer service. Bill Wiggins, an Operations Consultant, brings 35+ years of comprehensive experience in the legal industry, with a remarkable 30+ years dedicated to managing law firms of all sizes. His journey began humbly at a small firm, where he took on roles from Runner to managing the copy center, steadily climbing the ranks to become a seasoned expert in law firm operations.

Throughout his illustrious career, Bill has honed his skills in diverse settings, including a significant tenure as the Regional Director of Administration for K&L Gates, LLP, overseeing four offices across the Carolinas. His extensive cross-functional knowledge enables him to effectively communicate and collaborate with departments such as Business Development, IT, Finance, HR, and more. Nina Kareliussen

Nina Kareliussen, an Operations Consultant at Vista, brings 25 years of distinguished experience in the personal injury sector at leading law firms in Connecticut. Her journey began as a Paralegal, where she quickly identified the importance of seamless integration between individuals and departments for collective success. This insight propelled Nina to adopt a hands-on approach throughout each phase of the client experience, mastering the responsibilities of every team member and refining the processes needed to achieve outstanding outcomes for both clients and firms.

Nina's expertise evolved into creating and streamlining administrative processes, staff training, and team development, along with ensuring compliance and quality assurance. Her proficiency in custom developing, administering, and maintaining case management software has been pivotal, with her data analysis playing a crucial role in enhancing staff productivity, efficiency, and case value progression toward firm-wide objectives.

Before joining Vista, Nina served as Director of Legal Operations, where she led a dynamic team of Operations Managers, Paralegals, and Legal Assistants. She collaborated closely with senior leadership to devise operational strategies, streamline processes, track firm-wide metrics, and coach emerging leaders across multiple offices. Nina’s comprehensive understanding of staff roles, interdepartmental collaboration, and data-driven leadership is a cornerstone of her success, fostering growth from the ground up.

Outside the professional realm, Nina finds joy at home with her husband, two sons, and their mini poodle. She relishes poolside summers and the thrill of live concerts, reflecting her zest for life in all its facets.

Steven Gursten

Bailey Shattuck, a Financial Operations Consultant at Vista, is a rising star with a sharp eye for corporate finance and a passion for building impactful solutions. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University in 2022 and completed her Master’s degree in 2024. She is currently studying for her CPA exam, further cementing her commitment to excellence in financial strategy.

Prior to joining Vista, Bailey honed her leadership skills as an Educational Leadership Consultant for Alpha Phi Fraternity and built a strong foundation in finance as an accountant for Stephenson Technologies Corporation. Her experiences have uniquely equipped her to collaborate alongside Vista’s CFO in the development and expansion of the firm’s Fractional CFO services. Bailey’s ability to blend analytical thinking with fresh perspectives makes her an instrumental part of the growing team.

A firm believer in helping others reach their potential, Bailey volunteers as a Recruitment Advisor for Alpha Phi at the University of Kentucky, where she mentors future leaders. Her enthusiasm for supporting others aligns perfectly with Vista’s mission to inspire growth and success for clients.

Ari Kornhaber

Ari P. Kornhaber is a former trial lawyer who represented plaintiffs in personal injury, medical malpractice and mass tort litigations. Subsequently, Ari was a Founder and Senior Officer at a family of financial service companies that provided litigation financing to lawyers, law firms and their clients. Having been both a practicing contingency fee lawyer, who has experience bringing cases to verdict, coupled with being a financial service provider to the legal community for more than 15 years, Ari has a rare perspective and a deep understanding of the unique financial issues practicing lawyers face.
Currently, Ari can often be found on stage presenting at various trial lawyer association conferences and seminars across the country, as well as abroad, or online presenting on webinars, webcasts and podcasts.
Ari obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from Oneonta Sate College and he holds a JD from Touro Law School.
